POWER
The most beautiful woman who was ever born shows up at my doorstep.

Can anyone say “reverse psychology”???

It really got me re-thinking my career/retirement options.

Naturally,
a beautiful woman would wisely desire a man who had a successful career and would provide for her.
Her name is Susan, and the Lord gave me the pleasure of meeting her at church when I was just 10 years old.
It was useless to hide my feelings from Him.

He already knew my thoughts and so I tried to play it “low key” and thought to myself “Nice, Very Nice!"
Was this a trick play?

It almost seemed like the Lord was giving me a little smirk of a smile as
He asked, “Well son, what do you think of My creation?”

I did not answer Him on that day,
but I sat speechless in amazement while wondering... “What is God up to now?”

I was immediately humbled and felt way out of my league.
(My thoughts are higher than your thoughts...)

Then Coach hands me His Manual and simply says,
“You’ve got work to do.
Work hard, and DON’T GIVE UP!”

Now if THAT was not going to get my attention, then NOTHING would.
Basket weaving was enjoyable, but unworthy.

"BRING IT ON!"
I'll be back for practice first thing in the morning!
BACK TO BATTLE!...

Over the next 3 years, I’ll bet the Lord told me not to quit AT LEAST 10 times directly and indirectly.

I know why the Lord kept repeating this
over and over (Joshua 16:17,18).
This was going to be HARD TOUGH work.
This was going to be a challenge!
The Lord knows me far better than I know myself.

I have been in many physical battles with men and many of them all at the same time.

There has never been any case where any man of the flesh obtained victory over me.
There has never been any multiple of fighters who fought me and ever won any battle against me.

They were damaged by the hand of the Lord.

Here was a bad idea for these men: "Challenge a little shephard boy named David".
David was amazed that all the men and the army were frightened at these men of war.

Here is where it get's really fun.
David looks around and simply walks up to the guy and makes a simple statement:

"Guess what, you DON'T know who I am or who my Father is, but I CAN promise you this...
Now THAT was the last thing goliath remembers about THAT battle.

The Lord is MIGHTY in BATTLE!
This testimony speaks truth to the Power of God.

Woe! How many games are left until the "Supper Bowl?"

Beat up, bruised, want to go home, but it is "HALF TIME!"
and Coach begins to inspire the team...

May the Lord Bless "ALL" who are able to receive this message.
