Are you really READY for the BIG-TIME?
After two seasons of rehab, recovery and all the same things all over AGAIN; |
once more I was prepared for battle.
Bigger, tougher, stronger, faster. AND, I knew more plays from Coaches handbook (The Word is Alive) than I ever believed could even be possible.
I was now strong enough to hold my Sword straight out forward without a flinch.
My uniform (Armor) was fitting very well, and that helped with my "confidence".
Fear had left me and I believed that THIS was going to be my season. The Wolverines were “Going Down!” (Romans 8:31).
Once again, we won every game straight, until… we met the Wolverines…
They had changed the playbook again and had newer, younger players.
They were bigger, faster, stronger and smarter than at the games we had played before.
They still had the same coach and the same quarterback.
They didn’t talk as much smack, I suppose because it didn’t seem to bother us much.
But they still had that SEETHING anger burning out of their eye sockets.
For some reason, out of all the players on our team,
they seemed to focus most of their attention on getting "ME" out of the game.
During the 4th quarter and time running out, the wolverines were behind and desperate for an undefeated season.
Yep! We lost that game...
It turned out that we only lost on a “technicality”. "THE REFEREE" was fired and now works at Walmart.
My injuries were not as severe. I went through rehab again, and was in even better shape for the following season.
Same as before, THAT! was the last thing I remember about THAT game…(Proverbs 24:16).
May the Lord Bless "ALL" who are able to receive this message.
