Are you really READY for the BIG-TIME?
I don’t imagine much needs to be said about ICU (INTENSIVE CARE UNIT).|
I have been there and done that MORE than my share...
Being in the hospital feels like as imagined or experienced. Many of us have already made that trip.
But a few people in the Lords' Army sometimes feel like it is a second home.
It is a nice, quiet and peaceful place to be (painfully so).
Recovery is slow and there is plenty of time to think and meditate on the Lord, the “Supper Bowl”, and the “Battles”.
We get to read His Word...reflect on how to improve for the next “Game”. As much as I wanted to just watch TV, I could not take my eyes off of "His Playbook".
And Coach stops in often to cheer me up and provide much Counsel.
At times, He sends actual angels to share strange things with me that “don’t appear” to have anything to do with the current situation (Jeremiah 33:3, Jeremiah 29:11).
It was a long painful recovery.
Then of course, rehab is ALWAYS a joy (James 1:2-4).
(If you have been in rehab, you already know about that painful JOYFUL smile).
I was out for the rest of the season. However, I had recovered enough to jump “back into the game” by start of the “next season”.
May the Lord Bless "ALL" who are able to receive this message.
